Here I am in the nation's capital, yesterday it was raining so hard I thought a lot of the snow would melt away and maybe FFR4541 could come out of winter hobernation soon, wake up this am and all that will be fired up is my snow blower! And it is still snowing.

Oh well, same fellings each year, near the end of teh winter it seems to drag a bit ... anyone else have the winter blues?

Arrrghhhhhhhhh. I hate winter. It serves no useful purpose whatsoever. FFR #???? is coming home on April 8th. Since I will be starting the build outside......Snow begone.

Worst part is that the rain cleans away the salt on the roads and then it freezes over and they go out with the salt trucks again. There are a few days I would have been out already except for the salt.

I thought we were well on our way to spring here on the west coast. Grass was getting longer, tree's budding, dafodils poking out of the ground..
Then this shows up a couple of days back..

Amen, brother. I thought spring was just around the corner... then we got a fresh 6" blanket of snow the other day. Gotta admit though, it's been a light winter around here. We're well under our normal accumulation. I absolutely hate this time of year. I've had enough of this winter stuff, but can't do any summer stuff yet. I'm a golf nut, so when the US networks start talking about The Masters in April, I start climbing the walls!

Looks like we might get another foot this week, lets hope for more rain than snow.

OK .. things have gotten a LITTLE better. Car waas started yestreday moved into another garage ... Rod and Victor came by yeterday, needed helmets and gloves but at least Rod is racking up the miles. Hopefully it warms up a little this week and work can start to get him ready for summer.

The weather here in BC is so on-again, off-again, it's been frustrating as heck. You'll get one or two days of sunny mild weather, that gets you all excited, then it'll piss down rain for three days..
My storage policy runs out Mar 31, so I think I'll put the regular coverage on, and hope/pray for the best. The old saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers", but that was before Al Gores time..so maybe I'll get lucky..

Ok, all you guys dealing with the snow, We on the Wet coast have problems of our own. I had to mow the lawn last week! From my perspective it looked fine but the missus has her own ideas of what look good. Same thing applies to her idea of what makes a good garage, but thankfully I prevailed on that argument. But I digress, at any rate I am now faced with a weekly lawn mow for the next 8 or so months.

Like I said we all have our crosses to bear!
