So it looks like the fire department cut the battery wires when this car was wrecked. I am trying to hook them back up but not sure what goes where, other than the starter cable, which was still attached.

So what I have is:

Thick starter wire. Another black wire routed and in the loom with the starter wire.

A black wire that goes underneath and into the engine compartment fuse block.

And a black wire attached to the engine bay.(Obvious!)

When I continuity test the black wire routed and in the loom with the starter wire, and the wire going underneath and into the fuse block, I get continuity. When I do the same to either of these wire and to the 120A fuse in the block, I get continuity.

I want to assume they are both either + or both -. But if they are both +, there is no - wire other than the one to the engine bay, and that is too thin to be the only - wire.

Can someone take a look at theirs and give me some direction. Maybe there is a short somewhere, but there just doesn't seem to be damage in an area that would cause a short.

Not 100% on an '07, but on all the others of earlier years:

Battery + goes to the starter soliniod, and the fuse box.

Battery - goes to a bracket bolted to the transmission using one of the starter mounting bolts, and a bolt on the fenderwell.

OK, I found a picture on the internet that seems to indicate that. I kinda expected continuity between those two particular wires, but want to make sure what goes where.

Thanks for the help guys! She fired right up! My hope was to get it running and use it as a mule since I have a good amount of time before I pick up the kit. Now I can get it off the trailer and into the garage.
