the build became a slower process, issues on keeping the family happy, thats important.
but my big desicion to change the dash a couple weeks ago, close to the competition style. it has been completed as far as drilling and layout, i filled in the backside of the old dash and cut-outs and installed back-up aluminum, drilled out some in-fills of aluminum to fill the holes (we will call them dutchmens, thats a carpenter term.)
got my new black leather for the dash its a shoulder of a steer, its also a bit relaxed and has stretch marks i like, the same leather will be used for my midshifter cover and brake boot. along with some other areas like the doors and console.
i am looking into some blue carbon-fiber maybe for some escutheons on the dash behind the ignition and switches. i may even use some on the console.

anyone know how thick the carbon fiber is?

no pics yet but soon to come

i did use RTV/blue to install the back panels if that helps, i used weights for it to compress found it easier than handscrews.

steven i am looking into this next thanks for the input.

just going to be a slow pace to keep my family happy, work has been slow for this carpenter, as soon as these jobs pick up with permits and renegotiations i will be back on track, i pray for a go-cart on my 2nd anniversary april 4th
