I am gonna order a base kit next few days and was wondering about the dash on the base kit, does it come with any gauges or do you have to buy separate? The what you get section of the web site says it comes with dash, buttons, toggles and indicator lights, no mention of gauges. It mentions gauge conversion kit with bezels spacers and wiring. Any help would be appreciated.

Base kit doesn't come w gauges. You can order cheaper gauges but the ones at factory five work well and are easy especially if you are using a donor.

The base kit is designed to work with donor gauges. That's why the mention of a conversion kit, spacers, wiring, etc. Basically you harvest the gauges out of the donor vehicle and set them up behind holes in the FFR dash. Not sure how many really do that any more.

What are your plans / desires? Are you building a complete donor?
FFR will swap a blank dash for the pre-drilled one, if you want to design your own layout (especially if you want an S/C layout).
That's what I did, then custom ordered a set of gauges from Speedhut. LOVE THEM! :cool:

Go to the FFR website and click on their parts catalog and you will see the gauge selections they offer. Their gauges will fit the pre-drilled dash panel that comes with the base kit. Also, there are tons of other gauges available including original type Smith gauges. Do a search on the FFR forums for dashes and you will see hundreds of choices and options.
