Got this through my work e-mail:
It has been reported that people are receiving calls on their home phones from a "Express Couriers" asking if the person will be home at a particular time for delivery of a gift package. Once the courier arrives he gives the gift, normally a bottle of wine and basket of flowers, stating that there is a minimal cost due to the alcohol. Courier will not accept cash and states for his record the homeowner has to use their credit card swiping to their handheld unit providing expiration date and security code. Once this courier leaves he has access to all the information he needs to remove your money from ATM's. WARNING: Be wary of accepting any "surprise gift or package", which you neither expected nor personally ordered, especially if it involves any kind of payment as a condition of receiving the gift or package. Also, never accept anything if you do not personally know or there is no proper identification of who the sender is. Above all, the only time you should give out any personal credit/debit card information is when you yourself initiated the purchase or transaction!
