Emmitt - Here the pics I promised of loading my FFR onto an open trailer. I used a combination of four old tires (for cushion), a home-made wood frame to support the chassis, a "car jacket" to protect everything from weather and prying eyes, and ratcheting tie-down straps.

The tires went down on the trailer first, followed by the car jacket / tarp, then the wood frame when on top of that to hold it down. FFR used their forklift with a crane boom on the front to lower the chassis/body onto the frame, then we strapped it down (had to slit the car jacket for this). Once the car jacket was zipped in place, we added some straps of duct tape to keep everything from flapping around at highway speed and we were good to go for 1100 trouble-free miles.
