We attend the open hpuse just about every year, this year my wife wants to tour some lighthouses on the cape. Can anyone recommend a placeto stay near a lighthouse ? THanks

Where would you like to stay? Chatham is the most famous. My Real Estate office is in a lighthouse here on the Cape. It was moved from the center of the channel when it was slated for demo to its current location. It is small, only about 35' tall. I am a 13th generation Cape Codder so maybe I can help.

Anywhere close to the beach. We are going to the open house on the 15th of June, so something kind of close to Wareham, I promised the wife we would visit some lighthouses. Any suggestions ?

I am not sure if it is near a lighthouse, but I'd strongly suggest a bed and breakfast in Sandwich, Mass. called The Belfry, which is across the bridge and only about 15 minutes from FFR. It is an old church which was converted into a B&B and it is the coolest place I've ever stayed. The B&B is also a restaurant, and the food is very good by any standards. Neither the food nor the lodging is inexpensive, but I felt that the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food and lodging. I am confident that your wife would really enjoy it. Google should pull up the website, and I would suggest making reservations very early as the place only has so many rooms.

Sandwich is the town I live in and I agree the Blefry is awesome, Danel Webster in Sandwich is also nice. Coonemesett Inn in Falmouth is very nice as well. There are lots of places on the Cape where lighthouses are only a short drive away. Riverway in Yarmouth is beach-front and near the center of the Cape for commuting in either direction. Dont miss the National Seashore, to see it all you will need a few days. Send me your address and I will send you an edition of Cape Cod Life, It is a "high end magazine" devoted to the richer lifestyles but if your thinking Belfry, you can afford to stay most any place on the Cape.
