Axel question

I sold what I thought was a 05 transmission out of a wrx wagon. It apparently was swapped out for a 04. Which used different axels (female inner cv). I can either take the trans back. Or if I can find axels save the deal. So what I'm asking is what axels should work? Besides the obvious. What year range. Models would work. Thx

As long as your in the 2002 -07 range you are fine. The rear axle will be supplied with the kit. You just use the front inner CV and rear outer CV.

It's not for the kit. I decided to part the car out so I sold the trans. Told the kid it was a 05. So he bought it. Here it was replaced with a 04. So his axels don't work. My axels are longer and won't work. So I can either take the trans back or if I can find axels for him save the deal. So I was wondering what axels would work from different years and models. Thx

New axles are cheap from autozone
