Has there been any new info? I check at least twice a week, but it doesn't mean I haven't missed something. The last substantial reveal was the body work, right?
From what I understand the car is undergoing testing, it would be phenomenal to get insight into how it is progressing, what works and what doesn't. Information like what camber settings, spring rates, brake bias, etc. Behavior involving under-steer and over-steer. Engine cooling effectiveness, intake and inter cooler temperatures. All of that would be fantastic to hear about.
Numbers like 0-60, braking distance and so on isn't necessary. Those are also the numbers that people can get carried away with.
Has the donor parts list progressed at all?
I am so incredibly interested in this car, but lately the lack of any info has been disappointing. However I understand understand that FF5 is a small company and a product launch is a huge undertaking, and informing the masses isn't high on the priority list.
P.S. I am patiently waiting for the coup version, I just hope it comes someday (within a year and for $15k or less with roll up windows).

Personally, I think the name of the game at this point is Patience. Dave and his team are working very hard to develop and test the car, and iron out all the issues so they can release an awesome product on time. I have full confidence they will release an awesome update when the have some precious free-time in their schedule.

You know it is weird. I'm a gamer and two of my most favorite titles are half-life 2 and the legend of zelda: twilight princess. Both games were delayed for years before being released. However, when they were, they were so ridiculously polished that they turned out to be some of the best ever made.
Moral of the story. Patience is a virtue. Better to sit back and let FFR make the 818 as good of a product as possible. They've already done something few companies do, which is have their own employees talk directly with the public.
Besides, when a video game is incomplete it is just buggy, but when a car is underengineered...well I don't think anyone wants to experience that. :b

And there was also Diablo 3 and Duke Nukem Forever. The moral of that story can swing both ways. ;)

Nope. And I definitely don't do marathon sessions on Netflix after the kids go to bed.

Wangan Midnight actually, and though I am enjoying Inital D 5th Stage finally coming out, I'm not a big into drifting per say.
(the character avatar I chose drives a very similar car to one of mine)

My mistake, it's a small thumbnail, and I thought it was Ryosuke from ID. Now that I look at your sig, I'm guessing it's the doctor with the "blackbird" 911.

yup, except for the asian style eyelids we look very similar too
and my 911 is black as well
although it's nowhere near Blackbird level
