Maybe this is in the wrong forum, but it sounds to me that a lot of the parts in the complete kit do not get used if you are planning on building the roadster with the coyote engine and drivetrain. Does ff plan to address this? If I am incorrect or this is in the wrong forum I apologize in advance.
Thanks
Adrian

Adrian, this is the correct forum. Here's a bump to draw the techs attention...

Ok thanks, 70 views and no response. I thought this may be the wrong place!

Hi Adrian,

The MK4 and Hot Rod are now both able to accept the 5.0 Coyote Engine. When ordering or updating a Factory Five Kit, there is just a few part numbers that you need to order to make the kit accept a 5.0 Coyote engine. Here are the Part Numbers that you would need to order from Factory Five:

MK4:
15442: J-Pipes for 5.0 Coyote Kit
33920: Coyote 5.0 Headers
14222: Coyote Motor Mounts
15432: MK4 Coyote install Kit

Hot Rod:
33919: 5.0 Coyote Hot Rod Exhaust (Headers)
33806: Hot Rod Coyote 5.0 Install Kit

Thank You

Hi Dan, thanks for your response. From my understanding, and please correct me if i'm wrong but from what I read in the forums it seems that there are alot of un-used parts and alot of missing parts to complete the intstall?

Hi Adrian,

These are all of the necessary parts from Factory Five that you need for the install. There is other components called out in the Factory Five instructions for the MK4 and Hot Rod that the customer needs to supply with the 5.0 Coyote Engine for the complete install.

Thank You

Hi Adrian,

Quick question - are you referring to the Virtual Garage where you built a Mk4? (link here) If so, that's under construction and may not reflect the full offering just yet. Joe here at FFR has been working on it, and I'll let him know you were asking so that he can get those options added in to the mix. If it's somewhere else, please let me know, and I'll make sure the correction is made there, too.

Thanks!

Jason @ FFR
