Over all dimension of the 818 needed

Hi guys I am planning to enlarge m'y garage Space for the future project (818). I need the over all lenght and width of the 818 your help would greatly be appreciated, and would make some décision à lot easier for the futur build. M'y Space is limited on the lot so i Want to make sûre it's all going to fit.

I asked this same question during SEMA. No answer from anyone. I think since the kit is not final yet, they won't release any dimensions. If I had to guess, I do not think it would be far off from a MK4 or 33. JMO.

Not sure if it will help or not but the GTM is 171.5" x 72.1" or just slightly longer than 14 feet overall. Certainly the 818 will be smaller since the wheel base is 6" shorter.

Assuming a 95" wheelbase, I get a length of 146" by scaling a side photo of the 818s. For comparison, Miatas are around 156" long on a 89-92" wheelbase and about 66" wide.

I was thinking about doing that as well. Interesting to note that compared to other small sports cars (Miata, Elise), the 818 will have a slightly longer wheelbase, shorter length and lighter weight. All good things. Can you estimate the height similarly? We know the tire diameter is 25".

hey guys, just did a ROUGH measurement with Colby in R&D, wheel base is 95", rough width is 6 1/2' and length is roughly 13'.

i always figured it would be about the size of a honda s2000 which i believe is the same wheel base as the 818 so if you just look up specs for that would probably give you a decent idea

That make's it a wide Miata... same length but about a full foot wider! Thankfully I have an 8.5 foot wide enclosed trailer...

much bigger than I expected. thats about 8" wider than a wrx... you wouldnt think so looking at the interior shots... those wheelwells must really flair out.

Is that rough width 6 1/2', or 6' 1/2"?
6 1/2' is 2 inches narrower than an Aventador.
6'1/2" is within 1/2 inch of a wrx.

72.5" sounds right to me as well. 2007 WRX sedan is listed at 68.5" wide (http://www.edmunds.com/subaru/impreza/2007/features-specs.html?style=100796775).

hey guys i think when Colby and I measured it we came to 6 and a half feet. we did a VERY ROUGH measurement throwing a tape measure over the body just because someone needed the overall estimated size to see if his garage had enough room. the actual exact measurement will obviously be given when the kit is complete. wait whats that sound is the 818R running in the other room????? gatta fly!!!!!

Has anyone heard anything more official yet?

Are we going with 6' 6" wide (78") or 72.5"?

The "rough" dimensions would mean it's about 6" shorter than a S2000, but anywhere from 3 to 9 inches wider. I'd really love it this car was 9" wider than a S2000.

Ultima is 73 SLC is 74 so thats pretty wide
