07 WRX to be specific. Wide intercooler, airpump, dog leg fuse box, and windshield washer tank in the fender make it 06/07. The large wiring harness over by the passenger strut tower makes it an 07. With some expensive camber plates too.

Just to add..What make it NOT an STI...

Plastic intercooler - as STIs had an all aluminum one. ('02-'05 2.0 WRXs did also)
Raw 'silver' intake manifold - STIs had red painted intake manifolds.

Yes, aftermarket blowoff valve.

Thanks all!

Is it so much differences betwen STi & WRX motor & transmission that it won't work for 818?

STI come with a 6-speed. It is longer than a 5-speed so it won't fit.

Motor will work, still 6 speed won't as mentioned. The 06+ wrx are all 2.5l blocks with Avcs like the sti.

yes - so unless it was driven hard, it likely has some carbon buildup in the engine too.
