Been tire shopping (Mk3.1, new build) and was looking for the pros and cons of mis-matching treads and tire brands? Looking for 315/35/17 rears and 255/40/17 fronts. After massive amounts of reading leaning towards Kumho's, Goodyear's are to expensive. Lots of brands in 255's but less in 315's. Opinions and funny looks welcome. Thanks, Marlin

I agree. Looks bad and can have unpredictible results on handling.

I agree. I use tire rack as reference and buy most of my tires from them.

Click the search by size and look for 315s. Once that list appears in each tire listing there is a "specs". If you click that it gives specs for that size and as you scroll down it gives all the other sizes that tires is available. BTW, the Sumis are available in 275 wich will work fine. HTH
