Nationals - Thoughts on Attending?

Who here is actually planning on attending Nationals in Utah this year in their FFR? I'm unaware of any FFR cars that are being actively campaigned out west, and don't know of anyone from the east that plans to pay to ship to Utah to race. I love my FFR, and always will, but I also have a field of other race cars, and if there isn't going to be a reasonable field of cars, I might have to bring something else, like my Spec E30. So, who's coming?

I probably will not. I did think about suggesting if we want to do an East Coast Championship race.

I'm in the Pacific Northwest (there are a couple of us) that might participate now that NASA is here as it's only about a 700 mile trip.

How about we do our own FFR Nationals? Mid Sept at Road Atlanta? or early October at VIR? or End Sept at WatkinsGlen?

none that I know of.. just too far to travel for a track that isn't that special. Too bad, I love the Nationals event, this will be the first one for me missing it since it started in 2006.

So it appears John was right. There were no FFRC cars listed in the results this year. When was the last time there NOT an FFRC class at nationals?

Marty, what Brian said.. NASA Nationals started in 2006 and this year 2013 is the only year that FFR cars did not run. Also to note neither did Honda Challenge, or SpecE30!

We are doing the NASA NW FFR Nationals this weekend, so I expect that this will trump your FFR Nationals.
