They are the older style ones I think, I have found some newer type c ones for 375 , but I will have to keep searching. They do look just like the rota boost, but I do know Rita copied ssr's wheels over the years

These rims are very light and not copies. I can straight arm lift these things...

I got a ruff quote from my friend who has a shop and can get them for that, but it was for 15 inch ones and like 500-550 for the 17x8 so forget that. I still can't get a a solid lead on these. Does it have ssr stamped on the wheel, which i bet it does, just double checking. I have seen them before in gold and maybe even silver, but an older line for sure. They look exactly like the rota boost, so you could get them. I have had rotas, ssr, bbs, and gram lights and I think they are all great. There all pretty light too. Tell me where you found that exact wheel for 500. than maybe i can work that angle. I can't come up with that style under newer ssr products. It could be from way back as i remember so I sent a pick to a rep, so maybe he will get back soon. Maybe i missed something along the way in my searches, so let me know lol. ttyl

14566 , Can someone do the same with this wheel and make the 818 white, I would love to see it. thank you
As i thought they are the last edition ssr type c wheel, i think they looked decent, not a huge fan, but there not horrible either.

Metalmaker,
What tires are those? They appear to stick to a wall; that's the kind of grip I'm looking for :)

found the rims I want at my local Subie dealer. Drool! (http://www.speedywheels.com/alloy.htm) (The Illusions wheels).
They had a set of Illusion wheels which would work with the colour schemes I have envisioned.

I know this isn't exactly what was asked in the original post, but I didn't want to make a new thread. Did this up real quick in Photoshop, yes I know it's not perfect, I'm not very good at this kind of stuff.
The wheels are BBS LM-R, expensive, but you can find replicas as well. This is the look I'll be going for with my 818.

I can try it later tonight if I get some down time at work.
I've thought about white too, but to be honest, I don't like the front bumper design, and I think a dark color will "hide" it the best. My only one complaint about the 818.
