engine selection for mk4

hello factory five tech , i have orderd mk4 waiting patiently for early april delivery. i decided on going with a summit ford racing 306 cid crate engine. my concern is if this engine will fit without any major concerns . i will also be running fuel injection using the fi wire harness supplied with the included kit. transmission will be stock 5sp trans. thank you cobra tech

The Ford Racing X302 will work perfectly with your Mk4 (I did a Mk4 using that engine; the build thread is linked below). Before commiting to Summit you owe it to yourself to give Mike Forte a call. He is a Ford Racing dealer and will give you excellent pricing as well as knowledgeable personalized service for your drivetrain needs.
