Hand brake dillemma

My hand brake is mounted on the drivers side of the tunnel. I made a bracket for the e-cables. Problem is that when I pull the handle it only puts proper pressure on the bottom cable, which activates the pass. side brake.
The T piece get spulled crooked and the top cable does not get pulled at all.
I wonder if I need adjustable pieces to adjust the cable placement.

Any suggestions would be greatly appraciated as this has been my nemesis for a while. I'd like to finish my rear compartment aluminum already....

From the picture , that should work perfectly. disconnect the cables and see if there is some issue with the drivers side cable...........Steven
