Are the standard door latches DOT rated?

Hi guys,

I was hoping someone could answer this question for me, are the door latches FFR provide for the Gen 1 kit DOT rated? I seem to remember seeing something about this on FFR's old website but the new site makes no mention of it.

Another question i thought i might add to this thread, are these latches universal ones? Or are they designed to be an OEM replacement for a specific car?

I believe they are a hot rod piece that could be found in most rod catalogs. I purchased some similar to the ones used (right / left) from Summit.
