Hello All,
An old newbie here.
I have a 2000 Subaru Forester (4 cyl.) So far as I know the sparkplugs are the original (91K miles). I was able to change two of the plugs on the passenger side. The plug-wire/boots were extremely hard to pull off, but I finally made it. The two on the driver's side are a different story. I am afraid I will break the rubber boot and plug tube completely off and be stuck with a major teardown to change the last two plugs. I have removed the battery and windshield washer componants, but still can't get enough leverage. I'm not as young and strong as I was 70 years ago. Maybe I just need a stronger set of hands.
All advice or instructions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Chuckl
