I have decided on Blue with white stripes. I have choosen 2 blue's. Either Long beach pearl blue like the nsx or daytona blue like the 350z. Which of these 2 blues would you choose? My brain hurts from thinking about too much.

The Nsx blue is very unique, its a pearl blue with a candy in it as well.

Those two blues are not that different. Practically speaking, picking one over the other won't make much difference, since a given color is different depending on lighting, angle of the painted surface, etc. Good luck. I don't see how you can possibly make a wrong choice!

Geez, at least you have it narrowed down to 2. I'm in total turmoil about color for mine. I vote for the NSX color...

I did ownd a 04 350Z in Daytona Blue. I ordered that car in that color and I am not normally a fan of blue cars so that says it is a very good color.

I've been thinking for a month I finally picked these 2 blues today. I like them both. I'm leaning towards the nsx becasue it has a candy coat.

I had a hard time with color as well, but in general, you need a color that looks good on very curvy shapes. most cars these days don't have anywhere near the shape of a roadster and, although the colors look good, they don't look nearly as good as they could. When I went shopping for color I made sure that I looked at in on the curved surfaces rather than the flat surfaces on the "model" car. Go with the NSX color if that is your only two choices, it is made to be on a curvy shape. My opinion anyway.

Lexus Indigo Ink is my favorite. But, out of those two, the NSX blue looks better IMHO.

I appreciate your willingness to reach out and see what others think, but ultimately it's your car. When you go to the grocery store and stand in front of the ice cream freezer, do you ask people passing by what flavor to get? I'm guessing not, they don't know you or your tastes. Building one of these cars is pretty much the ultimate form of stepping out and doing something different and demonstrating to others that you are a creative soul. You've just built a car for Pete's sake. You need to pick your own flavor. My two cents.

Well, I am set on these 2 colors, sometimes other opinions are good to help make a decision. Others have built them and I value thier input on what matches nicely and what colors look good on the car. Just like not all cars look good in certain colors. I have only ever seen one of these cars in person before ever in my area. I know what color I like but that doesn't mean it will look good on the car. I know I built the car, I built it all myself in 4 months. I'm not the most creative person. I just appreciate others opinions is all. To me the more information I have the better decision I can make. Sorry

You don't need to apologize, everyone has a different way of going about things. I didn't feel like building one in the end. I studied the build book and decided it probably would have taken me 2-3 years to do it so I opted to find one built which poses an entirely new set of problems that I wont go into. I looked and drove three Cobras, 2 Shell Valley's and the Factory 5. I'm glad I picked the Factory 5. The tech support is amazing and I am blown away that Dave Smith actually gets on here. Its easier to get parts for this car than the Crossfire that I owned!
I also had to decide between shades of blue and I think I ended up with a my favorite. Now here's my problem.......I don't know what color of blue it is, where it came from. I have a small scratch on the passenger side that will need to be repaired and I have no idea what paint, color it is. No build information from the guy that sold it to the dealer I bought it from. I've tried to contact him but so far he hasn't responded to my letter. Be glad you can pick your paint and I admire those of you who have built your cars.

Do it like they did in the old days. Pick one of the medium blues available and done.

If you have a budget, you might want to check with your body guy. Candy colors can get expensive.

There isnt a budget, I just want what's gonna look best. I don't plan to ever repaint it so I want it done to perfection.
