What is the required wheel size and back space to run 17"X45X245 wheels on front and 17"X45X275 on the rear. I think the front is 9" with 5.95" back space but is the rear 10" with 6.25"?

Hi Mike,

Here are the equations to determine the necessary backspace for our cars:

Front (width/2)+1.25"=Back Space. (9" wide wheel would use 6" backspace)

79’-93’ Rear Axle or IRS (width/2)+1.25"=B.S.
94’-98’ Rear Axle (width/2)+2.00"=B.S.
99’-present Rear Axle (width/2)+2.875"=B.S.

Thank You

Dan, would those same calculations be available for the 33 Hot Rod?

Hi Nick,

We have not come up with a backspace equation for the Hot Rod yet due to the variations in fenders. We only have the wheel/tire combos that we have used with there specifications available as of right now. If you send me a email at tech@factoryfive.com, I can send you the sheet.

Thank You

Do you have a specification for the 818?

Hi Hazelwwp - no documentation just yet on the 818, but I'm sure it'll be developed as we get further along. Right now, what's up on the website is what's available.
