Anyone Have a White Car?

Like many of you in the past, I'm at that point in my project where I need to start thinking about paint color. I have to admit that I have pretty much liked every color I have seen so the choice will not be easy. However, my goal when starting on this project last December was to build something "low key" for lack of a better description. With that in mind, I have an under car exhaust, no roll bar or hood scoop in an attempt to build a "street" version. I really liked the original white Cobra that was featured in the Musclecar episode where it was tested against a FFR MkIV roadster. As you all know, that car was white with no stripes....... very understated in appearance but not performance.
Just wondering if any of you have a plain white car or maybe have seen one at a car show. If so, would like to hear your opinion on how it looked or see a pic if you have one. Although I could have the body ready in a few weeks, I'm planning on waiting until the spring to have it painted since temperatures won't be an issue then.

A friend has a FFR that is Wimbledon white. Really nice color. Not photo's

If you can get your hands on the out-of-print Cobra book (I think it's called Cobra; Anglo-American Legend) by Rinsey Mills, there is a photo spread of an original white street 427 - lots of photos.

The one on the end is a vintage 289 they just restored this summer. Very cool car.
No roll bars, side-pipes, or scoop.
We actually had 4 white cars on the cruise that day! :cool:

My stripes are Wimbledon white. It is a beautiful shade of white that screams vintage 60"s sports car. I am certain those photos do not do those cars justice, and they look even better in real life. I think white is a great color for our cars, especially with under car exhaust and no rollbar/scoop. What wheels are you going with....I hope 15 inch?

Of course there aren't a lot of colors we look bad wearing!

Thanks to everyone for their input and pics. The Wimbledon white does have enough "cream" color to look like a version of Old English White. I think the white just moved to the top of my list.
