Chuckwalla Anyone?

Last year, my track time at Chuckwalla was cut short by an oil leak, but the few laps I did get in were great fun. So, I am going to return for a second go at it in February. NASA is running their HPDE program February 9 and 10. Jeff (ezglider) and I have signed up for both days and plan to fully exercise our roadsters.

What are you doing that weekend?

It even more fun running it counter clockwise. It's also faster.

Had a great two days exercising my car and working on my speed fix last weekend at Chuckwalla. I ran in HPDE 2. We were combined with HPDE 1 and still there were only 12 of us in our session. Every session was almost like driving the track by yourself. It made for a lot of good seat time.

Below are a few picks to prove it happened:
First - That is me demonstrating the new both-hands-off kamikaze style now being advocated by all the major racing venues. (increases the pucker factor)
Next - Jeff Miladin (ezglider) also ran the weekend. He is getting a head massage from his daughter, Jenna.
Last - The third pic is me either on the back stretch or the back '40 chasing rabbits.
