Hi, I am working on mounting the E-Brake on a Gen 2 GTM. I have bolted the front two bolts in place loosely and the third hole i almost 1 inch off from the hole in the frame. Are all 3 bolts required? Is there something I am missing here? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! Bob

Hi Bob, I modified the mount to tilt the brake leaver more forward, however I think the only measure of if you need the rear bolt or not is your happiness with the stiffness of the E-brake. I am sure you will never rip it off with those front bolts mounted. Might be a little more wiggly with two bolts instead of three.

If you are really worried about the rear bolt just use a scrap of steel or aluminum to bridge the gap . Bolt the piece of metal to the frame and to the E-brake. It will be plenty stiff and you will have piece of mind.

One thing I have learned from the build is the kit is so good everything fits like a puzzle piece. You sorta get used to that and feel that adding mods could make things worse. You may have an odd E-brake maybe a c6 that's slightly different. Just build a little bracket and you will be fine.
