I've been wondering what the 818 will be legal to run at the track.

I know convertibles are allowed to run 13.50 before needing a roll bar, but that is with the top up. will arm restraints be required to run at all?
What will the standard cage the car is built with be legally allowed to run?

what would it take to be legal for faster passes?

Yes you will need arm restraints. Beyond that it is often up to the tech inspection personnel. I have one track I go to never say anything about the single roll hoop on the roadster running mid 11's but then another local track wouldn't even let me run if I keep the ET slower than 13.49. I told them I would just run 1/8 mile and coast through but no go. My guess is that the 818R would probably be allowed to run as quick as 10 flat without any mods but the street car may get questioned at anything faster than 13.5.
