Just left today for factory five...from Michigan. Stopped in Pennsylvania due to the blizzard!!! Cannot wait to pick up my mk4 sAturday morning. Just before I left ordered 355 gears...axle kit from northracecars.com (thanks Richard) zinc rotors and a new clutch...a few Christmas presents for myself. Hopefully the roads clear up because I'm not stopping:)

I picked mine up from the FFR factory in 2006. It was an experience I will always treasure. You are doing it right.

New England got buried with snow, I'm 90 miles NNW of FFR and it snowed here from Weds 3PM to Thursday 4PM..
He may have just grabbed a motel to wait it out.

Hope the trip went well. Made mine in September. 9000 kilometer round trip from Alberta Canada. Only casualty was a blown head gasket in my son's 2013 Ram Longhorn Cummins. So here's some advice. A buck 30 (kilometers/hour.... 80 mph) uphill with full boost on the chip doesnt save you any time.

Hey guys...finally made it home. Left on Wednesday and hit the blizzard...Thursday and Friday were wonderful..Saturday picked up my kit and hit the road....left at 9:30 am from wareham...pulled into my driveway at 7 am on Sunday...almost 22 hours due to another snow storm. Didn't feel comfortable staying at a hotel w all of the boxes in the back of the truck..so put the cruise control on 40 mph. Was a very tired boy today....will post a few pics soon of unloading and a surprise from my brother. Great thing is we made it home safe.
