I can't recall any info on this but does anyone know the weight distribution roughly or exactly? I would love to know how well balanced this car is.

With the body on it will be 60 rear 40 front.

Here's a statement from Dave from June:

EXACT Weight Specs: Current weight without body is 1503 lbs on scales includes 5 gallons of fuel in tank. Current weight distribution without body is 40 front, 60 rear. Design goal for final vehicle is clear at 42F and 58 rear. Design goal for the car was 1800lbs. and Jim is confident of that number considering a ton of variables such as factory seats, HVAC, etc. It is going according to plan.)

Whoops my mistake, even better than i thought.

I find it funny though. The roadster can achieve 50/50 with a FMR design. Then again RMR is just cool

There are so many factors playing into the distribution it gets almost insane, including the mentioned gas tank- the ride height front to rear, the FAT old slob in the seat /passenger.
I built a 240 Z with a 350 cu in chevy (400 HP)and it was frnt 51 rear 49 -ended up the power was too much for the frame after some hard driving and a few airborne off RR track runs.
It was nothing like the Roadster in that it needed to spin the tires in turns and it was very graceful ,but if you backed off you were dead .
I think the biggest advantage in this new car is the very low to the ground drive train.I love that the most. You can't find that other than $$ Italian cars.
