The jag will come in 3 price points
300+hp 400+ and the 500 hp
starting at about 69k up to 100k without the thrill of building it and most likely the depreciation that Jags often suffer from
Maybe ......wait and buy one of these after Justin Beaver wrecks his and use the interior parts as a donor.
Jags have great interiors

Much better lines on the 818, especially in the nose area

Exactly my mindset. Why pay $100K for a car that you can get easily done for $25K(that is, a very nice 818 anyway)!

you can even add any luxary items you want and probably even more and still be way under the 100k mark lol

can you add an electically controlled retractable top?
you can't compare the two price wise. maybe performance wise, but the jag will have fit finish and options beyond any 818.

Seriously guys?
I'm as big of an FFR fan as you all, but there is simply no comparing a $100K major manufacturer car to the 818. The fit and finish will be nowhere close. The body gaps and textures will be in different leagues. The NVH won't even be in the same game. Hell, one will even have a warrantee.
The 818 is not meant to approach the finished qualities of even a $30K production car. For what it IS meant for, it will outshine others.

At least now we know what fake badges to put on the back of the car. ;)

This is a pure enthusiast car, it is not a jag, or Ferrari, or even an sti, it is a bare bones, balls to the wall hell ride kit car that you have to treat with respect, or it will not respect you. This is why all the talk of adding Lamborghini doors, power this power and that etc, was kind of hard to comprehend for me. Those things are cool, and will be done on this car, but it is meant to be a purest car like the Elise. To compare it to production cars that are more show than go, with toilets built in is a waste of time.
I like the 818's design, and with some personal touches I will make it look wicked mean, with 350- 400whp and a sick stance that will make vettes bow, mustangs bleed blue, and chargers pee all over themselves. This car is going to be sick, do not imitate it, do not try to compare anything, it is in it's self bad to the core.

Man- that Jag looks sharp.
A lot of people are comparing it to (ie saying they lifted it from) the Maserati GranSport Spyder and GranCabrio.
