Hi Jim, I'm in Flemington and have a MK3.1. Unfortunately it is currently languishing in the garage. I was wondering if you could contact me so that I could run some things by you so that I can hopefully get back on track. Thanks in advance.

CMSU, we also have a group that gets together for breakfast about once a month up in Chester and there are a couple other guys down in your area building as well. Shoot me a PM if you want and I can add you to the e-mail list.

Jimi, excellent on being in paint, look forward to seeing the pics!! Congratulations again!. Let me know if you need anything answered as far as the tech inspection and getting it on the road.

Hi Guys, I live between Clinton and Flemington and have my roadster kit scheduled for pickup on April 27th. Would love to make some connections with the local factory five community as I start this project. If anyone is interested in getting together drop me a line.

Hello, all
I am also in the Flemington/ Clinton area, and will be ordering the 33 roadster. I called NJMVC, could not answer question on inspection. What year are they going to hold the emissions to? Will run a SBF, carburated, so a little concerned. I have had street rods, with QQ or Street Rod plates, so this wasn't an issue. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Tommy, come join us for breakfast as well, next one will be on June 9th.

I am sure Olli gave you some good info in PM, but the short answer is right now you need to pass emissions based on the engine block. That includes the equipment that would have been in that given year. 72 (I think) and earlier you need a PCV on it and emissions are passable. After 72 smog pump would be required, then cats, etc. etc.

Yes, Olli gave me what I needed, your explanation as why, makes sense. Will try to make it the 9th, in Chester?
Thanks
