I know there are "builders" around who build the FF Cars for customers who either can't or don't have time to build it themselves.. Was just wondering if any of the people on the list where doing this build just to sell it.. and if so at what price.. I for one, it would be easier for me to get a loan on a completed car then to try to get a loan on just the kit. Which is also why I was hoping for the hardtop at the same time as the roadster as I also need this to be more of my DD then just a sunny weekend toy..

So not ready at all. Had to turn down a early Jan production date because of timing. Its going to be a fun 2014. Can wait just sent in my first payment.

Starting to clean up my garage, I put a deposit down and waiting for FFR to get back to me with a date. Rather than just parts, or a wreck, I'm planning on buying a bug-eye WRX and running it in autox over the coming year, then starting on stripping it, and starting a build thread, once I get within a couple of months of kit delivery.

My daily driver is a '13 WRX, so when I found out about being able to build a 2wd, rear-engined, lighter, 2 seater, but with the familiar exhaust note and reliablity, it was something I had to go for.

I'm up North of Houston. Looking forward to this! I'll come back and update this post once I get a date.

Thanks, I did wonder, but I think I'll stick to my plan of fixing up the donor as a runner, and waiting to October to dismantle. I'll probably end up selling it on the scene down here.
