Hi guys, I have a Mark II with 15 inch wheels now and I want to place an order for a pin drive conversion. I tried doing multiple searches and did not find anything although I am sure this has been discussed 10 times.

Here is what I have now:

1. 4 lug axle - out of 90 Mustang
2. Levy Koni's - not that it matters I suppose
3. Levy bump steer - street kit
4. Levy 5 link

Here is what I believe I need to do/purchase:

1. Have rear axle narrowed on each side by 2.5"
2. Purchase new, shorter axles
3. Purchase Vintage Wheels (any reason to go with Trigo?)
4. Purchase Levy Wilwood brake system (5 lug, 4 piston)
5. Purchase new pin drive width control arms from Factory 5 (do I have any other options?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'm not a hundred percent...but I'm doing the same thing. Your housing should be fine...you just need fox width axles that are five lug and brackets that will put the calipers where you need them....I have had two options presented to me , if you go to northracecar.com Richard has this package with the axles and brackets. Give him a call. I do not think you need your housing shortened at all. A

Just to add in my comments - you're correct on the pin-drive width difference being 2.5" narrower per side in the back (it's 1 5/8" per side in the front). Also, I don't think it will be any issue for you, but while your rear suspension is still in standard-width form right now, look under there and make sure that nothing will be in the way of shifting your brakes inward by that 2.5". They'll be moving much closer toward the coilovers, but they should still clear.

Great that Austingoblue is doing the same so you guys can compare notes!
