I have ordered a 33 Hot Rod and planning to install an LS376/480 (19244549). I need to know the correct Tremec TKO 500 or 600 to match your chassis and this engine. Also do have a supplier that you prefer to supply the transmission? I am a GM dealer so I can get any GM Crate engine if you thing my choice is a bad one. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Steve,
The Tremec TKO 500 would be the transmission you would want, the TKO 600 can handle more power (not needed for your LS376) but it is more difficult to shift than the TKO 500. We get a lot of our parts from Summit Racing, as they would have the transmission, bell housing, clutch, and flywheel for that combination. That LS376 will be more than enough power for the Hot Rod, and will fit in with no issues.
