Newby - Lusting after Pre 65

Hello all, I'm from S NH and have been thinking about building a factory-5 Pre 65 coupe for a long time.
I've done some racing with the SCCA in the past and now spend my track time with COM SCCA.
There are a bunch of guys running the challenge cars or mK4's in the club.
I really like the Pre 65 coupe and see a few posts where it appears they are being used on the street.
My interest would be to build a dual purpose car one that I can drive to/from the track and enjoy on non-track weekend jaunts as well.

Question: are there any challenges to making the 65 street worthy, any difficulties in getting the car registered.

I know of at least one in NH that is street legal and being driven. I built it.
The kit is pretty much street legal right out of the box. It comes with working lights, horn etc.
I hear NH is one of the easiest states to get cars registered in.
