Weight of GTM with out engine and gearbox.

I don't seem to be able to find it any were but is anyone able to tell me the weight of the car without the engine and gearbox please.

Purely a guess but aprox 1750 lbs with interior, glass and wheels.


2400lbs finished GTM
Minus
The trans is about 150lbs
The engine about 500lbs
=1750 gross

That's probably a pretty close guess. The GTM I rolled across the scales came in at 2520, so you might have to add 120# to that 1750.

Just because I weighed my newly acquired GTM kit last night, the chassis and body, minus the doors and glass, and before anything is added to the car is 531 lbs.

Thanks for the welcome! #388, which was shipped from Factory Five to California, where it sat for a year before I purchased it. Now it is back on the east coast!
