Modify the AC pedals???

I was working in the footboy of my MKI this week and thought it might be a good idea to reduce the size of the elongated AC pedals. I am going to cut down the pedal to the size of the "AC" logo which is round and about the size of the mustang donor pedal. This will give me additional room around the sides and bottom of the pedal. I am going to start with just the clutch and if it feels OK then the brake pedal. I can always replace the clutch pedal if it doesn't feel and work OK. Anyone out there do the same? I have BIG feet.

OK...I made the mod to the clutch pedal and then today did the brake. What a hugh difference. So much more space at the bottom of the pedal for both. The AC logo is still plenty big enough for good application of both.
