33 firewall trimming- once and for all

This is a topic that has gone round and round on the 33 forums. Do you need to trim the firewall on the passenger side or raise the body? Most of us have trimmed the firewall as the body needs to sit on the frame on the door sills but some are raising the body which would seem counter-intuitive to the whole assembly. I've never heard a FFR tech weigh on this so Tony, if you could talk to Jim and take a consensus it would help close the book on this one. Thanks!

Hi guys there are two different ways to go about this do not raise the body,you will need to trim down the fire wall a little or you can take some material off the lip of the fire wall on the body..it will work out if you can split the difference...thanks tony@ffr
