Hey guys. I know some of you aren't audiophiles but for those who are, you'll have trouble getting any real bass to be audible while driving. I put a bazooka 8" inch sub in the trunk and while it sounded okay with the car off, once the car is on or you're at speed, the bass is gone leaving a hollow mid and high range only. I know there isn't much room behind the seats as well to put any kind of enclosure that isn't totally custom and the doors could work but for bass you'd have to create an enclosure inside. Well, I didn't put a heater/AC unit in my car so I had the entire passenger side (with the exception of the relay) empty. To my amazement, my sub fit right underneath with room to spare! So, instead of speakers behind the seats, consider under the dash as an option (SANS HVAC of course). It fires right into my right bulkhead area and provides some amazing sound from the front stage. To be honest, it's hard to hear where it's coming from which is great.
