I'm not happy with my dash. Its too plain and I don't care for it. I just have the standard layout from FFR covered in the vinyl with autometer guages. Can you guys post some pics of your dashes so I can get some idea's?
thanks

The dash itself is not carbon fiber, it aluminum. It comes with metel inserts that are removable by allen screws.http://www.caseydesignproducts.com/catalog/custom-modular-roadster-dash
I covered the inserts with Carbon fiber overlay from Dragon Plate http://dragonplate.com/ecart/categories.asp?cID=78 it come in a self adhesive backing, holds reall well and very easy to work with. Just sesal the edges with clear nail polish to stop any fraying.

That looks awesome! I wish I had a way to get behind the dash without taking the console and entire dash apart. I went with basic vinyl with seven aircraft switches.

Whatever dash design you do, you should make it easy to remove for future repairs or upgrades. Plan for the future when you mount it at the top and bottom, and leave enough slack in the wiring so you can lay the dash on the console, and/or disconnect a few plugs to remove the dash completely. After a year I re-did my dash and added a glove box with grab bar and a center console so I'm glad someone here told me to make the dash removable!
