Does anybody know where I can get one of these green clips that connects the throttle cable to the pedal?? This pic is from my roadster and I don't remember is it came from FFR or came off the mustang throttle cable.

Thanks

I've never seen that exact piece. With that said, that looks a lot like the little nylon press-in threaded things that some foreign cars have on/inside the fender lips. The small screws that hold on inner fenders thread into them. I'd guess you can find something that will work in the "small parts" section of an auto parts store. I think I have a few in my shop and will take a look around.

pretty sure that came from the donor at least it wasn't with my cable in my basic kit

It looks like it came on the donor throttle cable from the research I've done. I didn't use a donor for this build, so it looks like I'm off to the junk yards to see if I can find something that works.

What are people doing that are using the throttle cable from FFR and Russ Thompsons gas pedal?

It came with the Russ Thomson pedal.

The green clip comes ON the mustang cable and as far as I know is not a seperat piece. FFR includes a replacement piece that has to be modified to work if you use their supplied cable.

The piece they supply is square and the hole in the gas pedal is round. I'll play with it some more and see if I can get it to work.

I think I replaced mine with one of the "HELP!" parts available at most auto parts stores. I remember having to slice it down one side to get the throttle cable through it, then snapping it into the pedal.

Jc, that's what they have you do, you can shave it round and it will work.

I'll give that a try.
