Just finished test fitting the rear bumper and overriders and moving to the front of the car. I'm using the rubber body grommets and sleeves from Finish Line so I have a little more work in enlargine the holes but its not too bad. I got the grommets fitted on the right side of the car and slipped in the sleeves to see how it looks. My question is what is the recommended spacing between the nose of the car and the back side of the hoop. Looking at various car pics, it appears to be anywhere from almost touching up to 3-4". I dont want it too close that it can't be easily cleaned but don't want it too far since then the overriders would have to stick out.

As always, I appreciated your feedback and comments. Pics would be appreciated too!

Most I have seen are less then an inch from the nose. Just use the FFR supplied spacers and it will end up right where it belongs.

Thanks Mike.
Are you referring to the spacers that were installed on the body when I received the kit? I guess I thought those were specifically for the quick jacks however I will look at them again for length.

I'm using the rubber body grommets and larger diameter spacers from Finish Line so will need to trim them the necessary amount to get the right spacing between the nose and the hoop.

Thanks again for your help.

Yes. The quick jack spacers get reused for the bumper. Only the front though. The backs are different.
