Much closer to completion with a little help (and $$$) from my local body shop here. The body has been in the shop for about six months. Very nice work though and very fair pricing. Evidently, these guys don't like the work (like me) but really appreciate the project. They seem excited to see this thru final paint. Anyway, I'm very pleased with the results. Hope to finish by Christmas with graduation sometime next Spring.

Steve.....I was just thinking about you yesterday, and wondering how progress was coming with the car. (Also wondering if the cold weather has set in up your way?) The car looks great, and I bet you can't wait to get the body back from the shop. Knowing the nature of the grey, black and even the red bodies (much better, but still required some cutting/pasting ;), I'm sure they've put in some effort to get it to this point. Very exciting that you're nearing another milestone in the build!!! Yea!!!

Thanks all!

Got my doors back today with painted inside surfaces and ready for assembly as well. I know what I'll be doing tonight.

Karen, How nice of you to think of me. :o Fact is, I've been wondering about you and how your preps for the 25 hour are coming. Assuming of course you're going again?? I've keen kinda disconnected for awhile. And yep, you can bet we're well into winter up here. Time to hunker down.
