Auto Bid Master site allows you to enter an estimated sales price to see what Copart fees would be.. I enterd a few...
Here are the results"
SP Copart Fee
$100 $125
$1,000 $290
$1,500 $340
$2,000 $440
$3,000 $480
$4,000 $480
$5,000 $500
Notice also they have a place where it shows you shipping cost to your zip code (which you can change if not correct).
With these two pieces of information a better estimate of the budget for the donor can be made.
As an example, here is a link to their site with an '06 WRX that sells 12/20/12 (current pre-bid is $2,000, as of 11/20/12).. it runs & driives .. side damage ~118k miles.
