Autometer Electronic Speedo - Won't Calibrate

I've tried to calibrate my speedo three times now and it behaves exactly as the manual indicates each time - except I don't get any speed or odometer readings. Anyone else have issues or experience with these meters?

Running to the trans, or using GPS?

The speedometer only needs two things to run: 1. Power- you have that, obviously.

2. A signal. Sure sounds like you're not getting that. Start by checking the sensor output.

I didn't have a problem at all. I set up a measured 1 mile with my gps and then went back with the Cobra and drove and set the speed-0. You should have a signal wire from the transmission, a +12V and a ground.
