View Full Version : F5R #7790 finally arrived in Oz
F5R #7790 has travelled the worlds great oceans to finally arrived in Perth Western Australia. Thanks to Chris at Component Cars for making it happen. Will treat the project like a giant jigsaw - now to find all the edge pieces & corners in those boxes. Photo's are too large to post so will add later

Congratulations! I replied to your blog already, but let me say that I'm anxious to watch your build come together. You did forget on thing though... PICS!!

I've been reading for a year and a half and one thing I've learned is that if there aren't any pictures, it didn't happen. It's great to see these cars shipped to so many other countries.
Mike
It must have happened as I have managed to post some photo's

Congrats. I know what you're feeling, as my kit arrived this past week. What are your build plans?
Mike
I ordered the complete kit with the 3 Link 8.8 rear suspension as I would have to import most of the parts into Australia anyway. I have ordered a Coyote motor & Tremec TKO 600 transmission which arrive in a couple of weeks.
I plan to complete the build over a couple of years. First job will be the body buck. I think once I get started with the build I will probably get the bug to get driving though. I will keep watching your build thread to see how you are going

Congrats. I just moved back to the States from WA (North Freo, actually). I was just telling my friend out there that they should set up a business importing these cars, but apparently someone has beat him to it.
