OK - I've sorta "boogered up" the headlight switch that came with my Mk4 complete kit.

Is there a replacement/OEM headlight switch that I can use ... one that is compatible with the electrical connector that comes with the FFR supplied (Ron Francis) harness?

Or is my old hope to order one from FFR?

The $25 cost for an FFR replacement is reasonable I guess - I just hate to wait for it and then need to pay shipping on top of the cost for the switch. If there's a suitable OEM (or ???) replacement, I can likely get one thru my local auto parts guy.

I'm not keen on replacing the RF harness headlight switch connector to match up with a different switch .... 'causes every splice becomes a future failure opportunity :(

Thanks

Lynn

I thought I read somewhere that the sixties Mustang had the same switch. Could be a good place to start.

If it is the same switch used in the Mk 3 it is a GM based headlight switch, typical of the street rod market. I think I remember someone saying mid-'70s GM cars (Nova, Camaro, etc.). Take the switch to your local parts house where they have decent counter guy and they'll be able to match it up...
