Hi guys I am trying to install the tach adapter provided but I don't have a wiring diagram and the install instructions on the autometer site do not match the adapter provided with the kit. Wire colors Red, Black White and Green. Which goes where?

Not a tech from FFR but I thought I would mention that I did not use my tack adapter. I installed the tach wire from computer and a gound and that was it. I am not sure what application would warrant it's use. After reading quite a bit, I could not find a clear answer. But I figured, it was always there if I ever need it. Of course, I am using a EFI harness so that may not fit your application. But even with a carb setup, I think you could forgo the adapter from what I've read. WEK.

I found out that the color code is....
Red power on pin #71 or 97
black ground pin# 77 or 103
white crank trigger sensor pin# 21
green tack ,shift light etc..
