Is it possible to glass a piece of C5 rear bumper into fiberglass?

I have my exhaust routed to the left and right lower corners of the car. I would like to take the back of the the C5 license plate/backup lights and bond it into where the exhaust origonal exited. I dont have any fiberglass experience. Can I cut this piece out of the C5 plastic bumper and bonded/glass it into place?

ecklers makes a fiberglass bumpers, call them they may be able to make the section that you want from their mold.

My guess would be no. One is fiberglass the other is some form of rubber/plastic.

Making and fiberglassing the piece in place would not be my concern but the loss of the opening for heat to escape would be.
