Don't want to clutter up the H6 thread (or make people made at me ;) ). This motor is the replacement for the EJ series. The N/A FA20 is in the BRZ (which has been turbo'd aftermarket with success) and also comes in the JDM Legacy DIT (direct injection turbo). It's called the FA20 DIT. Here's the dyno plot (from Subaru) for the stock setup. 400nm ~295 ft-lbs torque. You'd have to buy this motor brand new (most likely) to get your hands on it, but in a few years it might be an interesting and slightly more cost effective solution.

The motor also uses the low front mounted Turbo that eliminates a lot of the lag the the EJ's see from the long exhaust path.

It's going to be in the 2014 Forester XT. Subaru will officially reveal it november 19th. Only with a CVT though... base models with the current 2.5 will be with either a CVT or 6 speed manual.

And the BRZ should get it also but only for 2014...
