Factory Five customer Karen Salvaggio was a featured builder on the “SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women”, a partnership between Ford and SEMA. The Mustang was unveiled in the center of the Ford display. Much of her time at SEMA was spent giving interviews and attending press conferences. Her Type 65 coupe was featured right next to the Ford display and she took some time to show Dave Smith some of the features of her build.

Karen and Dave took a moment to visit the Ford display to check out the new Mustangs at this year’s SEMA Show.

Karen's coupe is better than anything in Ford's lineup right now. What an awesome build. It was great watching her posts on the forum, and the results of the car!

It is just an awesome car! Congratulations Karen! Good luck racing, go fast, and keep the shiny side up!

Regards,

Steve

Way to go Karen. Looks like the coupe's a hit! But we already knew that. Love to see it in person some day. Thanks, WEK.

Thanks guys!! Having my Coupe at SEMA as a featured vehicle was simply an amazing experience. I was very fortunate that SEMA leadership chose to park the #28 (Warrior Princess) on point at the ramp leading up to the Ford booth.....The car drew an amazing and enthusiastic response all week from virtually everyone that passed. While I spent the lion's share of my time in the FFR booth, or at press/media events surrounding the SEMA/SBN Mustang build in which I participated, I also walked what felt like 3,000 miles to and from the Coupe with interested customers wanting to know more of how they too can build and own a tribute to perhaps the greatest era in the history of American auto racing.

Owning a Coupe within the FFR community not only earns the new owner the issuance of a personalized straightjacket, but more importantly, membership in a templar of builders and craftsmen who cherish and honor the history of these great cars. Based on the number of hikes I took this week, I think our Coupe membership is about to grow! Big thanks to Dave Smith for featuring the #28 Competition Coupe at SEMA this year!!!
