I brought my car to Autorama for the first time, I ended up with First Place in my class which I am very happy with, it was a lot of work, long three days, but I think it was worth it. I posted on FFCars.com as well, I had a good bunch of guys surrounding me, one guy had a Superformance GT40R, the other had a '63 Devin, which he said was a very rare car, with a lot of race history. We were right out in front of the Ford display, which I thought was pretty cool. I saw one other FFR car there, spec racer, Gary Green, nice guy. And another Cobra, I didn't know the make. I don't know how many cars were in my class, it was very cool seeing the Ridler Award being presented. There were a lot of awesome cars this year at the show.

Beautiful car, very well done and congratulations on your award and recognition of your hard work!!

Can you post some pics of the interior, and some of your other details? The color, and stripes are terrific-- the car really pops and grabs your attention.

Very well done, and my sincere congratulations!!

Steve

Guys, thanks for the nice comments. And a big thanks to my Buddy Ron who helped me get my car down there, without him I would not have been able to do it. As far as interior pics, at the show they didn't turn out very well, I will post some pics from a different time of the interior and engine bay. Thanks again guys.

Congrats, awesome car. I like the red FF33 that was there too. Arrowhead posted a picture of it in the 33 section. Your car is presented very well and I love 5" gauges.

HUGE congrats man. This is the first year in 5 that we havent been part of the Ford Racing display at the Autorama. Beautiful car and craftmanship. I love the stoke from some of the guys posting here, serious car-building cred.

Mark,

Congrats, that is a beautifull car you have. I think the pictures show the detail and finish that you put into the build process.

Enjoy the ride

If you guys would like to see some of the cars at the show, a photographer taking pictures said they would be posting pics of Ford cars on www.fordracingnation.com, go to the Autorama advertisement and the Update below has the pictures. I checked it out, it was pretty cool. Thanks Dave, I appreciate it.

Mark,

Saw the photos... Really great cars and impressive that you ended up on top. That link is fantastic. You need to be on the front cover of the forum here. Whose red 33 was that?

VERY NICE!!! Congratulations!

Your Roadster looks absolutely stunning... Love the combination of colors...

I wonder if that is Mark Reid's old GT40 in the background there? The one used in the latest Fast-N-Furious movie....

Indoor autoshow lighting is some of the worse to try and get decent pictures in..

I wonder if that is Mark Reid's old GT40 in the background there?

Just checked through the Ford Racing pictures and they identified the car as a Superformance.. Mark's car was an RCR.

Mark,

Congratulations! Well deserved. For those who didn't get to see Mark's car in person, the pictures don't begin to tell the story. Again, I really appreciate the time you took at the show to go over your build process and changes and to introduce me to helpful vendors.

Regards,
Bob
